6 Blue Sun Drive – Sage Creek

Builder: Qualico Homes
Selling price: $323,233 plus GST and land
Type: 2-Storey

6 Blue Sun Drive – A two storey home with three bedrooms suitable for a family of up to
four people.

This house has a small front porch with a large window that provides light for a lovely
room just off the entrance hallway. The builders have used a “bay” shaped wall with
pass-through openings on each side of the room’s doorway. The result: a beautiful room
which can be used as a formal dining room or as an office/library.

On the other side of the main entrance is the entrance from the generously sized two car
garage. The extra two or three feet on each side of the double door gives room for shelves
or a workbench. The laundry area is just inside this entrance. An entrance to the kitchen’s
pantry is beside the laundry area. What a great idea! From the garage, you can enter the
house and immediately put your groceries away in the pantry. A half bath is also tucked
into this area.

The kitchen is very functional. There are stainless steel appliances, well placed for
an organized kitchen. A centre island houses the sink and a raised eating bar. The
Caesarstone countertops are lovely. The stovetop has a brown glass mosaic backsplash.
Beyond the kitchen is a dining area with double garden doors leading out to a deck.

The highlight of the main level is the double storey ceiling in the living area. This
room has a built in entertainment centre complete with gas fireplace. The room’s large
windows face west. It would be a lovely place to relax and enjoy a prairie sunset.

Upstairs are three bedrooms. The large master bedroom is at the back of the house, facing
west. It has a large walk-in closet and a deluxe ensuite bathroom which includes a soaker
tub and separate shower. The storage space in the bathroom cupboards is extremely
generous. The other two bedrooms are a good size and face the rising sun. As you walk
down the U-shaped staircase, you have a spectacular view out the double storey windows
of the living area.

Although the basement is not finished, the walls have been framed and a bathroom has
been roughed in.
