the lovely glass panel door, side panes and above door window using
beveled transparent and translucent glass. That glass allows the
interior entranceway to be bright and cheerful.
The formal dining room and living room are separated by the stairs
leading upstairs. Behind the stairway is a wet bar which opens into
both rooms. There is ample space for your glasses and liquor and it
includes a wine fridge.
The living room has an extra high ceiling with two tiers of large
windows. The stone and espresso maple fireplace with built-in
entertainment system is the highlight of the room. The room is
dramatic yet still has a cozy feel.
The kitchen cupboards are made of (espresso) maple and some drawers
and cupboards in its island are made of stainless to match the
appliances. The countertops are granite. The sink is extra large and
extra deep. The oven is built into the wall with the microwave above
it. The glass stovetop’s range hood is hidden behind a lovely dark
maple arch.
Upstairs, the large master bathroom has two large walk-in closets, one
directly off the bedroom and one within the master ensuite. The
ensuite is very spacious. There is a walk-in shower and a large soaker
tub. The toilet is separated from the rest of the area with a sliding
door for privacy.
The two additional upstairs bedrooms have a jack and jill (shared)
bathroom. Hidden behind double doors in the upstairs hallway is the
laundry room, convenient for clothes and most linens.
Although the basement of this home is not finished, it has been framed in.
This would be a lovely home for those who like to entertain!

This 2400 sq. ft. Bungalow, (with a loft), has plenty of space for a growing family. The first thing I noticed when I walked in was the neat design etched into the ceramic tile floor in the front entrance. I thought it was a great alternative than a carpeted area rug which I would have placed there. It is like having a built in area rug! The home is quite open and bright with a fireplace on the wall between the living area and the dining area. The kitchen has a huge island which has chairs all around it for sitting and enjoying a meal. This is in place of a table and chairs typically seen in most homes. I truly like this idea because if you already have a formal dining room you only need one other place to eat for those nights when its just you and your family. The island in this home is the place for that. The counters in the kitchen are made of ceaser stone which are beautiful, and there is a wet bar in this area for entertaining and pouring refreshments!
The one really nice thing I liked was that the master bedroom is right off the kitchen. If you have to get up in the middle of the night to get a drink or a bottle for your baby, you are not too far away. The ensuite has a shower, jetted tub and two sinks so that you do not have to share a sink on those busy mornings when you are in a rush and don’t have time for your partner to wash up first! A spacious walk in closet, is also included.
The garage door steps right into the laundry room/mudroom which is great because it often gets quite muddy/messy in those areas, so guests will not be able to see this hidden area.
There is one unique feature I noticed above all the doors and windows and that is the cool vinyl designs. It adds such intricate detail to the home and makes it that much more memorable to me. The other really nice feature I noticed in this home is a loft area up a few stairs. This can be used as a master bedroom or a guest room. It is seperate from the rest of the house which is ideal for guests.
This builder also provides a door from the basement straight out to the garage. What a great idea to have an alternative exit!
This home is a must see!

180 Bridgeland Drive South - Bridgwater Forest

The front of the house was very architecturally pleasing to the eye.
It looked like the builder put a lot of effort and detail into making
this house stand out from the rest of the homes on the street.
When entering the house the first thing I noticed was the light
colours on the walls which I thought made the house very fresh, and
brighter than typically seen.
The main things I loved about this house was the walk -in front closet
to store your own coats and jackets as well as the guests. I know that
my front closet (which I find too small) typically gets used for my
families own coats and jackets, and when guests arrive I find myself
using my son’s bed to keep their outdoor garments on. The home was
lovely with an open concept kitchen and living area. As you approach
the staircase to go to the second level I immediately noticed the
wideness of the stairs which I personally love. How often have you
gone up a set of stairs when, at the same time, someone else is coming
down, and you have to move your body sideways, just to get by them!
The loft upstairs was also very appealing to someone like me, who has
a child that needs a space to do homework, or projects on the
computer, away from busy kitchens and living area.
The laundry room was also one of my favourites because it is on the
second floor hidden away from guests. Laundry rooms can become quite
messy so I think it is a great idea to put it on the second floor. It
is also closer to hampers which are usually located in the bedrooms,
so you don’t have to go far to put a load of laundry in!
This is a great home to see if you are looking for a two-storey home
with lots of space for a family with children.
