2 Waldport - Royalwood

Builder: Greentree Homes
Selling Price: $297,900 Plus GST and Land
Type: Bungalow

As you walk into this house, the first thing you notice are the 14 ft. ceilings. Although this house is a bungalow, they utilized the space by raising the ceilings, making the home feel even bigger. Throughout the house there are dark hardwoods and in the carpeted areas there is a shag carpet. I have to say, I love that shag carpet has made a return! I have it in my current house and love it.

Off of the foyer there is a den with grand French doors , a formal dining room and a hallway to the bedrooms. As you continue through the house, there is a kitchen, dinette and family room combo. This would be a great area for entertaining! Nice and close to the food, with plenty of room to sit!!

Down the hallway to the bedrooms, there is also a laundry room with a garage door entry. There are two bedrooms in this house, one being the master. The master has a grand ensuite with soaker tub and separate shower. Across from the bathroom is the walk in closet.

The basement is unfinished with a lot of potential. One aspect I must comment on is that although the basement is unfinished, the floor is painted. I too, have an unfinished basement with a white painted floor. This makes the basement a lot more appealing and cleaner looking. A nice option for a family like ours who wants to use the basement (for all of our girly toys), but don’t want to finish the basement yet.

To me I see this house as perfect house for empty-nesters, retired couples or a 1 child family. It is very roomy, although it only has 2 bedrooms. If you are intrigued by Greentree Homes, their Louisville style home is perfect for a growing family. It has lots of entertaining room, 3 bedrooms and a 1550 square foot basement with tons of potential!
