What a beautiful home starting with the tall wood columns greeting you at the Porch/veranda.

The home is nicely laid out and very functional. The interiorior designer/decorator has done a great job.

This is a home that would suite a professional couple as well as a family.

50 Highland Creek - Bridgwater Forest

Builder: Arlt Homes
Selling Price: $570,086 Plus GST and Land
Type: Bungalow

I love the reading area at the front of the house in this home. You can fit two chairs and a side table, possibly laptop on another table in the room. It is a nice quiet place for someone to use when they want that time to themselves. There is an open kitchen with a dinette. There is also a big island with quartz countertops. I love the floating shelves above the stove top! The fireplace in the living area has what looks like sheets of stained glass. I also liked the way the jetted tub and shower are separate from the toilet area. The garage door enters into the laundry area which has great cabinets and closet area for jackets etc. The basement is very nice with a wet bar and a stained glass backsplash. You can also pull up some stools at the bar area. The basement is a walk-out and therefore there is plenty of light shining through to create another pleasant living area for teenagers. A must see!

27 Bridlewood Road - Bridgwater Forest

Builder: Bentley Homes
Selling Price: $550,143 Plus GST and Land
Type: Bungalow

Wow, bright! This is the first thing I thought when entering this home. It is refreshing to see light coloured walls everywhere. There are some white walls but also light taupe colours on the doors, baseboards, and other walls. This home is very spacious and very open in design.

I love the white cupboards in the kitchen with a few light coloured maple cabinets just for a little contrast. There is a two-sided fireplace between the living area and the four season sunroom. What a great place to escape in the winter and get plenty of light from all the windows and warmth from the fireplace.

The master bedroom in this bungalow is huge with an ensuite with heated floors, which feels so good! There is also a big shower stall with three small windows for extra light. I love the his and her walk-ins closets with the wooden shelves. I prefer the wood instead of the white wire ones you typically see in homes.

The basement is not done in this home but I know that there are 9ft ceilings which will make the finished basement seem that much more bigger upon completion. The staircase going down to the basement has glass on it and provides openness going down the stairs.

You need to go see this home today!

15 Bridlewood Road - Bridgwater Forest

Builder: Gino's Homes
Selling Price: $400,000 Plus GST and Land
Type: 2-Storey

I like the way the builder carried over the same tiles throughout the house. The stone backsplash in the kitchen is the same as is on the fireplace. It is called fiddlesticks and is really different than I have seen. The laundry room floor has a similar look to the stone in the kitchen and fireplace. It is great because it is multicoloured and the dirt would be hardly noticeable.

I loved the dark colours of the cupboards in the kitchen which was similar in darkness to the hardwood floors throughout the dining and living areas. The baseboards were also a darker colour against a lighter colour on the walls. It looked very sharp! Usually I see a dark coloured wall against the crisp white colour of the baseboards.

The walk-in closets are a great idea. One for your significant other and one for yourself. No more trying to divide the space in a closet between two people! The double doors into the master bedroom is also a nice touch.

The colours in this home are very earthy and creates a cozy, warm feeling to the home!

Builder: A&S Homes
Selling Price: $336,153 Plus GST and Land
Type: 2-Storey

The big green bow on the garage tells you this is an A+S home. The always friendly Doug Kliewer is here to greet you and show you this home.

I like the high counter top in the kitchen with the bar stools. This encourages unwinding over a nice bottle of wine and talking while dinner is being prepared.

Take special note of the sitting area at the top of the stairs. This is extremely adaptable to any use you may have.

The high ceilings at the entrance give the sense of more room in the house.

The upstairs den is a perfect room for relaxation, reading or television watching. It is set apart by five steps from the bedroom and bathroom. This allows one partner to sleep and the other to stay up a little later and watch the news or read a good book without having to go all the way downstairs.

47 Almington Bay - Bridgwater Forest

Builder: Kensington Homes
Selling Price: $290,250 Plus GST and Land
Type: Bungalow

This bungalow was built to be both practical and comfortable.

The light colours that decorate this home and the beech hardwoods make this home feel bright and airy.

The kitchen is very spacious and well-planned. The island provides additional storage and counter space including a well-placed wine rack to the side.

The great room has built ins for an entertainment centre and overlooks the back garden.

The master suite is cozy with an ensuite with shower and walk in closet. This room is sunny and bright. A further bedroom, bathroom and laundry room add to the perfect flow of this house.

Though the basement is unfinished, if you wanted more space, there is ample scope to double the living space in this lovely home.

25 Hunterbrook Road - Bridgwater Forest

Builder: Hearth Homes
Selling Price: $469,900 Plus GST and Land
Type: Bungalow/Walk-out

As you walk in from the front door, the wide hallway greets and welcomes you. As you walk further the entire home opens up as a welcome surprise.

The master suite is massive with an ensuite to match. There is a double vanity, a corner tub and a 3 jet shower.

The great room has a 2 sided fireplace that adds a very modern touch to this bungalow. The vaulted ceilings continue to the dining room making this space very grand.

As you walk down to the basement, the banisters have lovely glass panels which are a very nice detail. There is a cozy rec room that has doors to the back garden. There is an awesome media room, which would ensure that any man would adopt this as his cave. There is also an additional two bedrooms down here as well as a full bathroom. Ladies, if you want to lose your husband for hours on end, buy this house.

168 Bridgeland Drive - Bridgwater Forest

Builder: Sterling Homes
Selling Price: $314,089 Plus GST and Land
Type: 2-Storey

This home feels very cozy and intimate to me. I think because it is not overly spacious. It is a two-storey home with three bedrooms on the second level. The kitchen is open to the dining area and living room. I love the fact that the island accommodates enough chairs around it for an average size family to eat their meals at. There is no need for a kitchen dinette, but instead, a dining table and chairs. This eliminates the need for the traditional dining room.

The powder room is close to the garage door which is great because your family can use the powder room (main bathroom) when you are busy outside doing yard work, and not have to go through the house with dirty shoes to get to it. I like the fact that the laundry room is next to the kitchen so that you can still mulit-task, (like most of us women do, sorry men!) and put a load of laundry in, while preparing a meal for your family.

The T.V. unit is a dark coloured wood with an alcove that is big enough to accommodate a variety of sizes of televisions. I like that the builder has thought about this. I remember building my home and being stuck with an alcove that is just too small and now I can not purchase a T.V. that is bigger than 30 inches wide.

There are hardwoods throughout the main floor and carpeting on the second level. I noticed that the backsplash in the kitchen is the same one used in the bathroom upstairs. I also loved the window in the walk-in closet for some added light. The walk-in closet is in the bathroom area which also has two sinks and a shower. My favourite thing about this home is the patio off the master bedroom. This can be used for those times when you wake up on a beautiful summer morning and just want to enjoy the sun, sip on your cup of coffee, and relax!

46 Highland Creek Road - Bridgwater Forest

Builder: Maric Homes
Selling Price: $671,147 Plus GST and Land

This home has the largest 2nd and 3rd bedrooms that I have ever seen. This is perfect as children age, they tend to need more space for their stuff.

The bathroom off the Master bedroom is fantastic. It has a rain shower with side jets, a Jacuzzi style tub that takes advantage of natural lighting and lots of counter space.

They have redefined the term mudroom. This area has a very spatial entrance off the garage, a rinse sink and a bathroom.

21 Hunterbrook Road - Bridgwater Forest

Builder: Huntington Homes
Selling Price: $726,417 Plus GST and Land
Type: Bungalow

This bungalow is both refined and elegant. It is definitely designed for those who like the finer things of life. Everything in this house has the best materials and high-end finishes.

The extra wide hallway is very welcoming. As you walk through this house you get this feeling of calm. This house flows so well. The large windows and the amazing hard woods are so luxurious.

The kitchen would make any aspiring chef proud. The island is bigger than the dining table that I have at my home. The counter tops are very practical, made from Cambria Quartz. There is a Wolf cook top and built in oven and gorgeous maple cabinets. The great room and dining area both look out to the rear of the property with huge windows to take advantage of this lot.

The master suite does not disappoint. The ensuite is spa like and has one of the deepest tubs I have seen surrounded by white rippled tile. This is the same tile used in the shower to bring this space neatly together. The double vanity is also crowned with that beautiful quartz to continue the luxury.

Downstairs in the basement, there is a cozy family room with doors to the back yard. There is even a walk in wine cellar next to the bar. This basement is delightful with smooth curved walls that add to the feeling of comfort. An additional two bedrooms complete this basement.

Huntington Homes must be very proud. If you want to know the meaning of quality, just visit this house.

11 Hunterbrook Road - Bridgwater Forest

Builder: Bentley Homes
Selling Price: $742,680 Plus GST and Land
Type: Bungalow

As you approach the front of this house, you cannot help but admire the beautiful white stone that covers the front. This is a subtle hint about what you are going to see in this gorgeous bungalow. As you open the front door, you cannot help but to say “Wow!” The ceilings soar above you and feel like they go on forever. The hallway is bigger than one of my bedrooms in my own house. To the front of the house is an enormous room that could be a bedroom or an office. If I lived here I can imagine daily calls to my boss telling him that I would be working from home. With floor to ceiling windows natural light just floods in and lifts your mood.

The dining room is enormous as well. There is enough room to put a huge table in here and comfortably seat 12 or more people comfortably with room to spare.

The full bathroom is very unique. The faucets to the vanity are in the wall.

Off the mudroom is a very large laundry room. In my native England, this would be called a bedroom. There is plenty room for storage in here.

Down the hall you pass another bedroom and then on to the master suite. This house just goes on and on. As you walk into the master bedroom, there’s that word again “Wow!” This is a very elegant room befitting of the type of person that would live here. With views of the lake to the rear waking up in the morning will never be a problem. The ensuite has a huge soaker tub and a very unique shower. There are three shower heads at different levels to make sure you are gloriously massaged. The vanity is huge, not surprising, the walk in closet has more than enough room to store both my husband’s and my four season wardrobes.

Back in the kitchen, there is a lovely curved island. All the cabinets have soft close doors and luxurious granite counters.

The great room also has fantastic views to the lake at the back. There is even a sun room that leads to a small balcony.

Here we go again. Walking down to the basement “Wow” There is a huge rec room with a walk out to the back yard and a three sided fireplace. There is a built in bar area with granite counters. The media room gives a new meaning to movie night. There are two further bedrooms, a fitness room and a full bath. Let’s be honest, this basement is bigger than most people’s houses!

There is so much to say about this house that you just have to go and see it. It certainly has given me aspirations of living here.

7 Hunterbrook Road - Bridgwater Forest

Builder: KDR Design Builders Inc
Selling Price: $550,965 Plus GST and Land
Type: 2-Storey

This house definitely has star quality. As you walk up the front steps to the porch you know you are in for a treat. The great room has fantastic views to the rear of the property. The grand fireplace would make anyone feel that they can relax after a long day. The bright open kitchen has a versatile island for preparing family feasts and the finishes are of a very high standard.

The walk out basement is amazing. This is a feature that I have grown to love during the Parade. You don’t get this wow factor in older homes and it really does add a usable comfortable floor to a home. Basements normally conjure up something like a damp dungeon. Not in this house. The basement has a fantastic media room and tiled games area. There is even a full bath with a shower and an additional bedroom. This is a perfect area to have a home workout area. You won’t have to climb all those stairs to wash away all that sweat from a vigorous exercise.

On the second floor, everything has generous proportions. The master suite has a huge walk-in closet and an ensuite with a double vanity and shower. The other bedrooms are of a good size as well.

Coming back down the stairs you can look down on to the great room and the fantastic views to the rear of the home. I can imagine waking up in the morning to trudge downstairs to get my morning coffee and be greeted by this amazing view. I am definitely not a morning person, but this view every morning would certainly lift my spirits to face the day ahead.

192 Bridgeland Drive South - Bridgwater Forest

Builder: Greentree Homes
Selling Price: $285,800 Plus GST and Land
Type: 2-Storey

This house has a fantastic open concept. Coupled with the vaulted ceilings, you have an overwhelming feeling of openness.

Through the entry way you enter the great room with views to the front of the house. This leads to the dining room and a doorway leading to a lovely deck. On fine summer days, you can imagine al fresco dining as the deck has easy access to the kitchen. The white kitchen cabinets add to the brightness of the first floor.

Upstairs the master bedroom is a perfect size for a comfy bed. The ensuite and walk in closet can easily accommodate the master and mistress of the home. Two further bedrooms and the main bathroom complete this floor. What is nice about this second floor is that you feel that the master bedroom is separated across the hall from the other bedrooms providing privacy and quiet if you have noisy teenagers.

This is a perfect family home with all that you would expect when buying a new home.

184 Bridgeland Drive South - Bridgwater Forest

Builder:
Hilton Custom Homes
Selling Price: $385,490 Plus GST and Land
Type: 2-Storey

When you walk into the grand hallway, you know why Hilton Homes named this home Elizabeth II with the most amazing ceramic tile. Easy to clean, these tiles will make sure that the impact of entering this home is never lost over time.

The designers have carefully planned this home to maximise on the special features. The great room has the most imposing fireplace and they have used the gorgeous tile from the front hallway as the accent. This comfortable great room is very spacious and would be able to accommodate a busy family.

The kitchen does not let this house down in any way. The maple cabinets and walk-in pantry would provide a lot of storage and the island would definitely be an asset in the morning when everyone is rushing to get out of the house.

Upstairs there is a loft area that is spacious and practical. This would be a versatile space to be used as either a family room or an area for the kids to study. It does not steal away from the roomy hallway from which the bedrooms lead from.

The master suite would be the envy of any boutique hotel. It is beautiful and regal. There is a second floor laundry, two further bedrooms and a very generously sized main bathroom.

This house has ample storage throughout. The builders have considered carefully who would live in this home, thought about their lifestyle and created a fantastic liveable home. This house is definitely fit for a queen.

180 Bridgeland Drive South - Bridgwater Forest

Builder: Randall Homes
Selling Price: $399,905 Plus GST and Land
Type: 2-Storey

The front of the house was very architecturally pleasing to the eye.
It looked like the builder put a lot of effort and detail into making
this house stand out from the rest of the homes on the street.

When entering the house the first thing I noticed was the light
colours on the walls which I thought made the house very fresh, and
brighter than typically seen.

The main things I loved about this house was the walk -in front closet
to store your own coats and jackets as well as the guests. I know that
my front closet (which I find too small) typically gets used for my
families own coats and jackets, and when guests arrive I find myself
using my son’s bed to keep their outdoor garments on. The home was
lovely with an open concept kitchen and living area. As you approach
the staircase to go to the second level I immediately noticed the
wideness of the stairs which I personally love. How often have you
gone up a set of stairs when, at the same time, someone else is coming
down, and you have to move your body sideways, just to get by them!
The loft upstairs was also very appealing to someone like me, who has
a child that needs a space to do homework, or projects on the
computer, away from busy kitchens and living area.

The laundry room was also one of my favourites because it is on the
second floor hidden away from guests. Laundry rooms can become quite
messy so I think it is a great idea to put it on the second floor. It
is also closer to hampers which are usually located in the bedrooms,
so you don’t have to go far to put a load of laundry in!

This is a great home to see if you are looking for a two-storey home
with lots of space for a family with children.
